Academics

Our mission is simple: to provide you with the highest quality academic and cultural experiences abroad possible.

We offer unique courses that explore International Business, Political Science, Communications, French language, and more through an in-depth and hands-on approach. Our world-class professors and course options at a prestigious local university enhance your academic experience and provide you with new perspectives each day in class.

Courses

Create your own academic experience by selecting from the following program components. You take 15–19 credits per semester.

  • French language course (required, 4 credits)
  • Study courses (optional, 3 credits each, prerequisites apply)
  • Partner University (Paris School of Business) courses (optional, 3 credits each; English-taught, prerequisites apply)
  • Internship placement and seminar (optional, 3 credits)

When planning your term abroad, please note the following guidelines regarding specific courses:

  • Students who have placed into a FR352 or higher are eligible (with home school approval) to cross-register for a course from the Paris - French Studies electives. These area-study elective courses  do not replace a French language course. Please reach out to your advisor if you are interested in taking a French-taught elective.

French Language Courses

You begin the term with one week of intensive language classes and then continue your language instruction for the remainder of the semester for a total of 4 credits.

Enrollment is determined by a written predeparture language assessment followed by an intensive language period on site, during which oral proficiency is evaluated.

Note: This is a list of possible course offerings. After you are accepted, you will see a list of final course offerings. Additionally, course registrations can be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or circumstances beyond our control.
