Study Abroad Foundation (SAF)
The SAF provides opportunities to study at a university in the U.S. & Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland, as well as Australia & New Zealand for one year or one semester including English language learning as part of the program (if required). Academic credit transfer between universities is possible.
Flexibility and Variety
The SAF's "visiting student study abroad program" is designed to provide the maximum level of flexibility and variety in order to meet the study abroad interest and needs of undergraduate university students from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The SAF understands the diverse academic calendars in the Asia-Pacific region and the varying levels of English proficiency of potential participants. With these factors in mind, we have created a program with flexible start dates and English language "pre-semester" or "pre-sessional" programs that accommodate students with TOEFL scores between 133-250 CBT or a 4.5-6.5 IELTS. Credit Transfer: Opportunities and Challenges
The SAF programs are based upon the philosophy that, whenever possible, the academic courses students undertake while abroad should receive appropriate transfer credit and be applied toward students' degree completion requirements at their home university. Learn more
The Study Abroad Foundation is committed to helping students achieve a
