About the Program

This three-week program is an exceptional way for STEM graduates to further their knowledge of materials science at University of Technology of Compiègne, a French national university and engineering school known for its innovation-intensive, interdisciplinary technological research program. Through a team-taught course at the nexus of physics, chemistry, mechanics, and materials science, you will explore the technological applications of nanostructured materials and the challenges scientists face as they try to link different length scales. Site visits to university and industry research labs will expose you to cutting-edge research techniques and graduate-level research methodology in France and offer a glimpse of the prosperous career ahead of you. Academics

Led by an international teaching team from top global universities, the three-week course is based on up-to-the-minute research activities and is an opportunity for faculty to promote their most recent findings. Atomistics, micromechanics, scientific modeling techniques are at the heart of the course, with 12 hours of contact time dedicated to each topic.
