Sending Universities

A non-sectarian institution since 1901, Japan Women's University nurtures independence and freedom of thought, believing that women's education is important for international respect and peace. In its four main faculties - Home Economics, Human and Social Studies, Literature, and Science - the university gives women the education and research opportunities that set them on a path of leadership and innovation in local and global communities. One of Japan's first universities with a graduate school, it is government-designated International Good Practice for empowering women in Asia and has study-abroad programs in place with schools across the globe. Every level of the university - from the kindergarten through to graduate school - follows the founder's three principles: true conviction, creativity, and cooperation and service.

Jiangnan University, a Ministry of Education-affiliated "Double First-Class" university in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was established in 1902. Its 3,250-acre campus accommodates 33,000 students and 2,100 faculty members. As a "211 Project" and "985 Innovation Platform" institution, it holds A+ rankings in Food Science and Engineering and Light Industry Technology (ranked 1st nationally). Design and Textile Science are also nationally prominent, solidifying its global leadership in light industry.

Jiangsu Second Normal University, a public teacher-training institution in Nanjing, was founded in 1952. Its 1,000-acre campus serves 12,000 students and 700 faculty members. As a key base for basic education in Jiangsu, it specializes in Primary Education, Chinese Language and Literature, and Mathematics, offering a robust practical training system for educators.

Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) is a university of higher finance and economics co-established by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. It mainly focuses on economics and management disciplines, with coordinated development of law, engineering, liberal arts, science and art disciplines.

Jimei University, a provincial-ministerial co-constructed university in Xiamen, Fujian Province, established in 1918. With a 2,300-acre campus, it enrolls 28,000 students and employs 1,600 faculty members. Recognized as a "Double First-Class" university in Fujian and a pioneer in maritime education, it excels in Navigation Technology, Aquaculture, and Marine Engineering, supported by a national maritime experimental teaching center.

Jinan University (abbreviated JNU) is a public research and comprehensive university based in Tianhe District, Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, China. It is one of the oldest universities established on China tracing back to the Qing dynasty (1644-1911).  It is the first university in China to recruit foreign students, and is currently a Chinese university with the largest number of international students. In 1996, it was included in the state's Project 211 for development of key universities. In 2017, it was listed as one of the "double first-class universities".

Juntendo, originally founded in 1838 as a Dutch school of medicine, has continued to develop education, research, and clinical care. Juntendo University is now the oldest surviving school of western medicine in Japan.

Currently, eight undergraduate programs in Medicine, Health and Sports Science, Health Care and Nursing, Health Sciences and Nursing, International Liberal Arts, Health Science (Physical Therapy/Radiological Technology), Medical Science, and Health Data Science. We also offer four graduate programs in Medicine, Health and Sports Science, Health Care and Nursing, and Health Science together make Juntendo University a health integrated higher education institution.
