Gifted individuals who have studied or taught here include 28 British prime ministers, 55 Nobel Prize winners, and 120 Olympic medal winners.

Also founded in 1879, Lady Margaret Hall started with just nine women and, in 2016, was the first Oxford College to welcome under-represented students to take on a foundation year.
