Your Student Counselor is your study abroad ambassador and supporter. They join your application journey when you’ve confirmed you’re interested in studying abroad. At this point, they guide you through each stage of the application, notify you of the documents you need, let you know when your admission results are in, and walk you through the next steps, including class enrollment and organizing pre-arrival tests.

Academics

In small classes, you have personalized support from some of the finest fashion practitioners on the planet. Studio time in each innovative course takes you deep into your specific interest within the comprehensive academic program.

Get inspired by London’s buzzing art community and develop a sophisticated portfolio of work. As a fashion student at the College of Fashion, you may also have the opportunity to host your own fashion show.

Courses

UAL has many colleges offering unique tracks. In the integrated program, you study alongside local degree-seeking students for up to three terms and fully integrate into UK student life.

In the non-integrated program, you study for a 14-week semester designed and tailored to study abroad students. This program offers electives to suit your individualized learning needs.

Whatever program you choose, you'll create a robust portfolio of work, experience the art scene of London, and even give your own art shows.

Application Requirements

When applying to study abroad, you must meet the entry requirements set by the host university - and SAF is here to set you up for success.

The requirements outlined in this section include the language proficiency scores you may need to demonstrate your language skills, a guide to the GPA range and other academic prerequisites required by your host university, and a list of documentation and other application materials you will need to finalize your application. You may need to supply additional information throughout the process, and you will be alerted through your emails and SAF Student Portal if this is the case for you.

Language Test Score Requirements

To prove your language proficiency, you can use any of the following:

  • IELTS: overall 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each sub-section
    *IELTS CDI (Computer Based) not acceptable at UAL.
  • TOEFL Ibt: 80 (L17, W18, R17, S20)
  • TOEFL Ibt Home Edition: (L17, W18, R17, S20)
