Korea Aerospace University is a private university located in Hwajeon-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. As an educational institution was needed to pioneer the civil aviation field during the Korean War, it started as a special aviation department of a transportation high school under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Korea in 1952, and was reorganized as Korea Aerospace University in 1968. Korea Aerospace University is a university specialized in the aerospace field. The university is training aerospace experts to work in government agencies.

Dongduk Women's University (DWU) is Korea's first private educational institute for women only, originated from Dongwon Girls School (Eui-sook), founded with private capital in 1908.
