Qingdao University of Science and Technology is a multi-disciplinary university with a focus on engineering and a coordinated development of science, engineering, liberal arts, economics, management, medicine, law, art and education. The university is a national 111 Plan project construction unit, a key construction university in Shandong Province and a famous school with applied basic talents training.

Zhejiang International Studies University (ZFSU) is a public provincial undergraduate university based on foreign languages and literature. In 2010, the university was restructured and renamed with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Wenzhou University of Technology is an undergraduate public university. It is the former Wenzhou University Oujiang College. There are eight colleges and one public teaching department. The university offers numerous undergraduate majors covering disciplines including engineering, literature, science, economics, management, law, art, and education.
