SAF Korea relocates to IES Global Seoul Center for even stronger student support

On October 22, 2025, SAF Korea officially moved into its new home inside the recently opened IES Global Seoul Center in Gwanghwamun, a historic district often considered the cultural heart of the city.

Gwanghwamun sits at the crossroads of old and new Seoul, and is an easy commute to bustling student-friendly areas like Hongdae and Myeongdong. It’s the perfect place for visiting students to experience the Korean capital, and an equally fitting location for SAF Korea’s next chapter. The move marks an exciting step forward for SAF Korea and for the growing number of students choosing South Korea as their study abroad destination.

By joining the IES Abroad Seoul team in the same space, SAF Korea is now part of a warm, collaborative community where everything students need sits under one roof. Local staff who know the city inside out, instructors who bring classes to life, and young people from around the world who are eager to connect – all sharing the same environment. It means more support, more connection, and a smoother study abroad experience from the moment students arrive.
 

This move also reflects SAF’s commitment to being present in the places where students live and learn. Having local teams on the ground ensures that students can rely on real-time support, cultural insight, and a sense of belonging throughout their time in Korea.
