It was another successful year for SAF participating on an international stage at CACIE 2025.
Each year, the China Annual Conference and Expo for International Education (CACIE) brings together thousands of educational experts, practitioners, policymakers, and key influencers from over 60 countries and regions. Held this year from October 29-31, 2025 at the China National Conference Center in Beijing, the event remains one of the most important international education gatherings in the Asia-Pacific region.
This year’s theme, “Bridging Education and Beyond,” focused on connection, resilience, and innovation. The conference explored how international education can continue to thrive – even amid global uncertainty – by finding creative pathways, strengthening partnerships, and imagining new possibilities for students around the world.
Across the three days, CACIE featured forums, roundtable discussions, special presentations and workshops, and networking opportunities, all echoing that shared spirit of global collaboration.
This year, SAF China also hosted its own dedicated reception for partner universities to celebrate SAF’s 25th anniversary. Over the past quarter century, SAF has built strong, lasting partnerships with universities in China and around the world, and will continue leveraging its expertise and global network to support institutional internationalization strategies while empowering students.
Meanwhile, on the CACIE 2025 exhibition floor, SAF welcomed partners and educators to its booth to discuss collaboration, the future of international education, and the organization’s 25-year commitment to empowering Chinese and Asian students.
The year 2025 marked not only a milestone for SAF, but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter. It was an honor to connect with partners at CACIE 2025 to celebrate progress, acknowledge ongoing challenges, and look ahead together toward shaping the future of international education.
