As the oldest undergraduate college in the oldest institute of higher learning in the state of New York, Columbia College at Columbia University has a long history of fostering academic excellence. Founded in 1989, California State University San Marcos opened its doors to students in fall 1990 and became the 20th campus in California State University’s 23-campus family.
