IES Global and SAF Connects with Global Education Community at EAIE 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland

SAF joined more than 7,300 international education professionals from over 100 countries at EAIE 2026 in Glasgow, where the global education community gathered to explore the future of international education under the theme, “The Rhythm of Revolution.” The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss key developments, and reflect on the changes shaping international education worldwide.

Throughout the week, SAF connected with longstanding university partners and developed new relationships with institutions and organizations from around the world. 

More than 240 conference sessions and activities provided opportunities to discuss funding and visa developments, evolving priorities, and the broader challenges and opportunities facing higher education and international collaboration.

SAF Tours the University of Glasgow

In addition to participating in EAIE programming, SAF also joined a tour of the University of Glasgow, a stunning, research-intensive university and one of SAF’s valued partners. 

The visit offered an opportunity to learn more about the student experience, explore the campus, and strengthen an important institutional relationship.

EAIE 2026 Conclusion

The week concluded with valuable new insights, strengthened partnerships, and fresh ideas for future collaboration. 

As international education continues to evolve, events like EAIE remain an important forum for building connections and expanding opportunities for students around the world.
