It was with great pride that SAF joined our partner institutions at the National Association of Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA) 2024 Annual Conference in New Orleans. And what an occasion it was!
At New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial, one of the nation’s largest convention centers, SAF headquarters staff Senior Associate VP Carol Carmody and VP for Strategy, New Business Initiatives & Analytics Amber Mercier met up with the Tracey Tao, Assistant VP of SAF China and the China regional management team as well as many old friends.
Together, they examined new innovations, strategies, and best practices in international education, fostering stronger networks to support visiting students. They enjoyed in-depth exchanges with leaders from the China Education Association for International Exchange, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Yangzhou University, and Shenzhen University—as well as many other guests.
Thanks to the long-term support and trust of SAF partner universities, more Asian college students can visit and study at world-renowned universities, which will help their future academic and career development and build strong international connections. And for that, we will be forever grateful.
