Transcript Information
Academic Records
Upon completion of the study abroad experience, the SAF will ensure that students host university or college issues an academic record or transcript in a timely manner. The host university will send the academic records to the SAF who will then forward the official transcripts to the appropriate official at the student’s home university (registrar, study abroad advisor, etc.). To help facilitate the transfer credit process, students are encouraged to maintain copies of all course materials such as the course syllabi, class notes, exams, and papers. The SAF is prepared to assist students in securing transfer credit when necessary.
Grade Queries
A student who believes that he or she has not received a correct grade or credit load may initiate an appeal by contacting the SAF. Students should provide as much detail as possible regarding their appeal to allow the SAF to be an effective advocate.
