SAF Academic Programs

SAF offers fully integrated semester or year long study abroad programs at nearly fifty colleges and universities in six English-speaking countries. SAF programs include extensive academic and personal support services to assist students from the time they apply until after they return to their home university. We encourage students, parents and international educators to use this page as a reference guide to the services of SAF and as a means to become more familiar with our host universities and colleges.

SAF Language Programs

In addition to academic programs, SAF offers programs for students who seek to focus full time on language study for a semester or year long study abroad program. Like students applying for academic study, students in Language Programs receive the full range of SAF academic and personal support services from the time they apply until after they return to their home university.

SAF Customized Programs

In addition to the above programs, SAF organizes customized programs for large numbers of students from a specific university. Universities tend to pursue SAF customized program options when the need for study abroad far outpaces the number of direct exchange agreements available at the institution. Currently, SAF organizes customized programs for J.F. Oberlin University (Japan), Rikkyo University (Japan) and Showa Women's University (Japan).
