Whitelands CourtRoehampton University, London

Roehampton’s picturesque campus in south west London provides the ideal location for high quality academic study in a safe and serene location that is still only six miles from the excitement and buzz of one of the world’s most exciting cities. Students benefit from the close community, friendly atmosphere and the University’s commitment to superior educational, social and pastoral support services.

Students attending Roehampton will no doubt take advantage of all London has to offer, but they will also be amazed by the impressive number of social and sporting activities that take place on campus.  Roehampton’s popular Summer Ball is reputedly the largest student ball the UK. Don’t miss the varsity rugby and football games between Roehampton and other local universities. These games are often watched by up to eight hundred spectators and are excellent spectacles to both play and spectate.

Housing

Students are housed in one of Roehampton’s four residential colleges which are located within easy walking distance of one another.  The residential colleges are more than just a place to live.  They support residents academically and socially and facilitate a feeling of belonging.  Accommodation across the colleges varies from singles to doubles and from fully catered to self-catering.  The SAF program fee is based upon the cost of double occupancy in a self-catering facility.

Courses

Unlike most British universities, Roehampton offers a broad range of over 1500 degree combinations in the Arts, Social Sciences, Business and Education with particular strengths in the creative arts, humanities, biological and sports sciences, theology and languages.  SAF students will find a great deal of flexibility to take courses across the curriculum and perhaps enjoy enrolling in subjects that are completely unrelated to their major at home.
