University of Chichester
With a relatively small student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students, Chichester is able to offer students small classes, low student to faculty ratios and a friendly and supportive staff. Chichester is also just downright fun with all students having access to a busy social life. The University has an active Students Union which runs loads of events, sporting activities and clubs as well as supporting two student bars.
The University of Chichester has two main campuses, one in Chichester and the other in Bognor Regis. Both of these fairly small towns are located in the stunning countryside of West Sussex, on England's south coast between the historic coastal cities of Portsmouth and Brighton. The University’s location allows students to enjoy peaceful countryside living while still being near the sea just ten miles away and London a quick 90 minute commute to the north.
Housing
Students are housed in University accommodation blocks situated on both campuses in either an en-suite room, which has its own toilet and shower or a standard room where you will share bathroom facilities with other students on your floor. The SAF program fee is based upon the cost of a standard room and does not include the cost of meals. Students will be billed separately for their meal plan fees.
Courses
Chichester offers a strong portfolio of courses in business, cultural studies, English, IT, music, social sciences, performing arts, and sports sciences. Three of the University’s programs were featured in the top 20 in the Times University Guide - Subject by Subject Review – 18 May 2004 for fine art (20th), media (16th) and theology (16th), dance and performing arts came 25th.
