Bath Spa University

Bath Spa University provides an environment in which students' academic and welfare needs are addressed with professionalism and care. This medium sized distinctive university offers teaching of the highest quality from committed staff in a unique and supportive environment. Bath Spa Student Union activities include clubs, sporting societies, a number of volunteering opportunities and many other services including shops and pubs. The university is international with between 200 and 400 international students each year studying on campus.

Bath Spa University is located on two campuses of outstanding beauty. Newton Park, at Newton St. Loe, is the larger of the campuses, where all courses and subjects except Art and Design are located. The Newton St. Loe campus is just four miles from the centre of Bath. Art and Design classes are held on the Sion Hill Campus which is located in a residential area famous for its Georgian Architecture and is minutes away from Bath City Centre by foot.

Housing

Most students are housed in University accommodation halls situated on both campuses providing either an en-suite room, which has its own toilet and shower or a standard room where you will share bathroom facilities with other students on your floor. All accommodations are self-catering with stoves, microwaves and fridge-freezers in all kitchens. There is 24 hour security, and both campuses have launderettes, refectories and bars.

Courses

The University is small enough to have a close-knit community feel, but large enough to provide a good range of courses and excellent facilities including art and design, performing arts, education, humanities, business and management and many other subjects.  Bath Spa is committed to meeting the academic hopes and expectations of each student and ensures that students are given the individual attention they deserve.
