Shanghai Normal University


上海师范大学创建于1954年,时名上海师范专科学校,1956年扩建为上海第一师范学院和上海第二师范学院,1958年两所学院合并成立上海师范学院。1972年至1978年与华东师范大学等五校合并成立上海师范大学。1978年恢复上海师范学院。1984年改名为上海师范大学。1994年10月,与上海技术师范学院合并成立新的上海师范大学。1997年9月至2003年8月,上海师范高等专科学校、南林师范学校黄陵卫生保健师范部、上海行知艺术师范学校、上海旅游高等专科学校等先后并入或划归我校管理。学校下设18个二级学院、104个研究机构。另设上海师范大学青年学院是我校与共青团上海市委共建的、旨在培养高层次青少年教育与研究人才的二级学院。上海师资培训中心、上海市高校师资培训中心和《高等学校文科学术文摘》编辑部等机构也设在我校。学校还建有广泛社会影响的老年大学。

学校现有全日制本、专科学生23743人,研究生4613人,夜大学学生14544人。学校被列入来华留学生中国政府奖学金院校,与30多个国家和地区的179所高校和文化学术机构建立了协作交流关系,与美国、英国、德国、法国四个国家签有5个合作办学项目,目前在校的一年以上长期留学生670人。学校在日本广岛福山大学和非洲博茨瓦纳大学建有两所孔子学院。建校50余年来,学校培养了13万余名各级各类人才。在上海中小学中,近70%的中小学教师和近70%的中学校长都是我校的毕业生,其中有一批杰出的代表人物,如上海市教育功臣唐盛昌、刘京海、仇忠海和叶佩玉,全国优秀校长吴小仲和高润华,上海市首届师德标兵童莹莹和张育青等是我校毕业生中从事教育事业的杰出代表。

学校现有本科专业82个,覆盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、农学等10个学科门类。中国语言文学专业为教育部批准设立的国家文科基础学科人才培养和科学研究基地,古典文献专业为全国重点培养古典文献人才的四个基地之一。旅游会展经济与管理、教师教育、汉语言文学、影视传播、英语、应用化学和生物技术等是上海市本科教育高地建设项目。

学校拥有博士学位授权一级学科点2个、博士学位授权二级学科点22个、博士后流动站6个、硕士学位授权点94个、专业学位硕士点5个。经过几十年的努力,学校已经建立起一批具有优势和特色的学科:比较文学与世界文学是国家重点学科;“都市文化研究中心”是上海地方高校中唯一的教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地;资源化学实验室是省部共建教育部重点实验室;都市文化、计算科学和比较语言学是三个设在我校的上海市高校E-研究院。此外,学校还拥有14个上海市重点学科;15个上海市教委重点学科;3个上海市普通高校人文社会科学重点研究基地;2个上海市重点实验室和1个上海市教委重点实验室。

学校师资队伍结构合理,拥有一批在国内外具有一定影响的专家、学者和优秀青年学术人才,初步形成了一支以特聘教授为旗帜、有较大学术影响的学科带头人为中坚、中青年学术骨干为主体的高水平教师队伍。现有教职员工2990人,其中专任教师1713人。专任教师中具有正高级专业技术职务者247人、具有副高级专业技术职务者521人;具有博士、硕士学位的教师1135人,占专任教师的65.9%,其中具有博士学位的教师463人。此外,还组建了一支516人左右的兼职教师队伍,其中包括5位院士级的特聘教授、100多位外籍教师。

学校现有徐汇和奉贤两个主校区,占地面积162万多平方米。校舍建筑面积77万多平方米,其中教室面积5.9万平方米、学生宿舍面积28.1万平方米、校内实验室和实习场所7.9万平方米;两个中心图书馆藏书近451万册、有近100多个电子图书数据库和4个具有馆藏特色的资料库;建在我校的上海高校瓷器博物馆是上海市十大高校民族文化博物馆;因古籍数量达10万册以上且善本古籍达3千册以上,经国务院专家组审批通过被授予“全国古籍重点保护单位”。全校固定资产总值近18亿元,其中教学科研仪器设备资产4.65亿元。


A key university in Shanghai city, Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) is a comprehensive local university with salient features of teacher training and particular strength in liberal arts. The main undertakings of the university are undergraduate education with the chief aim of producing high level application-oriented talents.

History: Founded in 1954, SHNU was then named Shanghai Teachers Training College. In 1956 it was expanded into two colleges, Shanghai No. 1 Teachers College and Shanghai No. 2 Teachers College. Two years later, the two colleges were combined to form Shanghai Teachers College. From 1972 to 1978, it was known as Shanghai Normal University after combining four other ones including East China Normal University. In 1978 it was restored to Shanghai Teachers College, and was renamed as Shanghai Teachers University in 1984. It combined with Shanghai Teachers College of Technology in October 1994 to form a new Shanghai Normal University. From September 1997 to August 2003, SHNU took in successively the following units as its subordinates: Shanghai Teacher Training College, Department of Human Sanitation and Health of Huangling Teacher School, Shanghai Xingzhi Art School, and Shanghai Tourism Institute. The university has 16 colleges and 81 research bodies. Also located in SHNU are, among others, Shanghai Teachers Training Center, Shanghai College Teachers Training Center, and the Editorial Department of Academic Abstracts of Liberal Arts of College Journals.

Talent Cultivation: Currently, SHNU has an enrollment of 22,505 full-time undergraduates, 2,827 graduates, 13,061 night school students and 682 long-term overseas students (studying here for more than one year). The university has established cooperation and exchange relationships with 182 universities and cultural and academic institutions in 25 countries and regions. For 50-odd years since its establishment, SHNU has trained more than 100,000 talents of various kinds. Almost 70% of primary and middle school teachers, and almost 70% of school headmasters and principals are SHNU graduates. Among them there have been marvelous figures such as Tang Shengchang and Liu Jinghai, who are entitled Educational Heroes in Shanghai, Wu Xiaozhong and Gao Runhua, who are excellent school principals at state level, and Shanghai Teacher Ethic Models Tong Yingying and Zhang Yuqing. These people are representatives of excellent students graduated from SHNU and engaged in educational undertakings in our country.

Disciplines and Majors: At present the university has 76 undergraduate disciplines related to 10 subjects, covering Philosophy, Economics, Law, Pedagogy, Literature, History, Science, Engineering, Management Theory and Agriculture. In addition, the major of Chinese Language and Literature was authorized by the Ministry of Education as National Liberal Arts Base for talent cultivation and academic research; and the major of Literature of Ancient China serves as one of the four key bases in the country. In 2005, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission launched Undergraduate Educational Highland project, and five of our majors including MICE Economy, Teacher Education, Chinese Language and Literature, Film and TV Communication and English were selected as key programs of this project. SHNU has 2 primary disciplines and 22 secondary disciplines for doctoral degree programs, 2 mobile post doctoral research center and 93 Master’s degree programs. After many years of solid work, the university has set up many subjects with their specific advantages and features. There are influential disciplines in the academic circle such as Chinese Language and Literature, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Pedagogy, Computational Mathematics and Astrophysics; and disciplines that have attracted wide attention in the society such as Art, Advertisement, Tourism Management, MICE Economy, Rare Earth Materials, and Plant Functional Gene. “Urban Culture Research Center” is the only key research base of Humanities in local universities approved by the Ministry of Education. In the university are also municipal key laboratories in the field of galaxies and cosmology, 3 E-research institutes of urban culture, computational science and comparative linguistics, and a large number of major subjects in the process of further development either at the municipal level or under the supervision of Shanghai Education Commission.

Faculty and Staff: SHNU has a sound faculty structure with a group of famous experts and scholars, and a large number of young and middle aged excellent teachers. At present, the university has a staff of 3,032 people, including 1,627 professional teachers, among whom 201 are professors and 461 associate professors. 894 teachers, who occupy 54.9% of the faculty member, have been conferred with doctor’s or master’s degrees, with 283 of them holding doctor’s degrees. In addition, the university has 500 part-time teachers, including 5 specially employed academician-level professors and 20 foreign teachers with long-term working contracts.

Resources: SHNU has two main campuses, Xuhui Campus and Fengxian Campus, covering an area of over 1.62 million square meters. The floor area of the school occupies 710,000 square meters, among which the classroom area is 67,000 square meters, students’ dorm area 239,000 square meters and in-door school labs and fieldwork space 60,000 square meters. Two Central libraries have housed 3.25 million books, 21 pieces of databank of electronic books and 4 stores of rare or important reference materials. The fixed assets of the whole university are as high as 1.27 billion yuan, among which teaching facilities and research equipments are valued as 315 million yuan.

申请阶段

  1. 填写《上海师范大学学生出国报名表》,先交本学院教学副院长签字盖章后交至国际交流处。表格可在国际交流处学生交流版块中下载:

  2. 填写《SAF本科生海外学习修读课程申请表》,初步确定留学期间所选课程并报学院教学副院长批准,学院出具正式同意函。
  3. 咨询SAF国际项目中国办公室,电话:021 62483236/62485890,填写《SAF项目报名表》并准备相应材料,交至SAF国际项目中国办公室。获得录取通知书后办理签证手续。

录取之后

到达海外大学之后

  • 开学后三周内,将正式选课情况传真或email给教学副院长审核,如有问题,及时调整所选课程。

回国之后

  • 及时向学院报到。凭交流学习期间的成绩单,完成学分转换,并尽快将交流学习小结和有代表性的照片提交国际交流处。
